As a psychotherapist in private practice, I have been interested in blending the art of psychotherapy, bringing the not-yet-known into awareness, with the spiritual path of inner attention.  I have had the opportunity to walk with others as they pursue their devotion to self-knowledge.  Working with others over the course of years, I have been fortunate to experience the internal process which asks each of us to be honest with what emerges from the unconscious.

In these blog entries, my hope is to illustrate the never ending process of honest acceptance of “the who I am.”  Rather than believe in an image of who I think I am, an in-depth pursuit to reveal what is hidden shows me who I actually am.  With humility as my guide,  I adjust my perception of myself and ultimately the world.  As self-acceptance takes hold, I shift my perception of myself and embrace gratitude that grows from such acceptance.
